Coralita Beach Coralita Beach

Coralita Beach is part of the Baie Lucas, situated between Oyster Pond and Le Galion Northeast of the island. It is a pretty, small (about 1/2 mile long) deserted beach. This quiet beach is a good spot for families and honeymooners The beach is wide and flat with palm trees and seagrapes on the fringe providing shade to this quiet beach, where you won't find any service and nor amenities. Coralita Beach has also a good view of the islands of Tintamarre and St. Barths To get there, take the main road to Oyster Pond towards Orient Beach. Passed the Superette at Oyster Pond, you'll have to find a parking off street either next to the sign for "Reserve Naturelle" or a bit further down next to the horse stable. There are no beach bars or restaurants at Coralita Beach. There are however remains of civilization to be found on the beach, one are the ruins of the former Coralita Beach hotel, the other is a half abandoned apartment building.

Long Bay Long Bay

Long Bay, also spelled Longue Bay, Long Beach, or Baie Longue in French, is in the southern part of French Terres Basses/The Lowlands. As the name implies, it is the longest stretch of white sand beach on the island. It is also one of the most quiet, intimate beaches, and the best for sun-worshippers. With its stunning turquoise waters and plenty of privacy, the natural charm of this secluded beach will amaze you. Long Bay is also great for snorkeling, although you won´t find too much coral. To access the beach, look out for the entrance of La Samanna Hotel. Continue along the road next to the ponds, and you will see a parking lot on the left. There is also a fenced passage onto the western end of the beach. Starting from La Samanna, the beach continues all the way on to the very western end of St. Martin, where you´ll meet some rock formations as well. Remember that you will have to bring your own supplies to Long Bay beach. There are no watersport activities, no vendors, no amenities, so you can enjoy the privacy and beauty of the bay to the full extend
